HUMIDITY TRANSDUCER
Humidity is the measure of water vapour present in a
gas from. Vapour is a term that refers to the gaseous
form of a substance that normally exists as a solid or
liquid.
When liquid exists in a gas from it exerts pressure on
its surroundings. This pressure determines the amount
of vapour in the air at a given temperature. This value,
known as vapour pressure, varies with temperature and
pressure, as well as from substance to substance.
A Humidity sensor also called a hygrometer, measures
and regularly reports the relative humidity in the air.
Hygrometer is a device that indirectly measures
humidity by sensing changes in physical or electrical
properties in materials due to their moisture content.
