Assalamualaikum WBT, Salam Sejahtera and Salam Muafakat Johor,

Politeknik Ibrahim Sultan (PIS), or formerly known as Politeknik Johor Bahru (PJB) has reached
her 18 years of milestone, having been established since 1998 at Pasir Gudang, Johor Darul

Takzim. More than 20 thousand graduates from PIS have secured solid positions in the job

market, and now play an active role in progressing our economy and social development.

Now, we would like to heartily present the first edition of PERMATA, a compilation of success

stories of our alumni (1998-2015) from various fields spanning from entrepreneurship,
technology, design, culinary, consultancy and education. The publication of PERMATA provides a

privilege to enhance PIS alumni network and visibility as well as the testimonials on how these

prominent alumni regard their alma mater experience to their current personal and professional
achievements.
