Mohd Hafidz Ariffin

Mohd Hafidz Ariffin began his education milestone with certificate in Tourism Management in

2002 from Politeknik Johor Bahru, Diploma in Tourism Management from Institute of Teknologi
Tun Abd Razak Petaling in 2004 and Bachelor degree of Business from University of Ballarat,

Australia in 2006.

“I choose to further my master in Tourism Management to empower myself with adequate

knowledge in an area I desire to work for the remainder of my life,” Mohd Hafidz explained.

Mohd Hafidz started his career by working part-time with a number of travel agencies in Selangor

from 2005 and served actively in the field of tourism from 2006 to 2008. In 2008, he started his

service with Universiti Tenaga Nasional (Uniten) and has been entrusted to serve in Quality
Assurance Centre. His dedicated and excellent achievement while serving in the Alumni Centre,

Career & Sponsorship and Centre for Research Management has named him one of the recipients

for the Prime Minister’s Industry Excellence Award in 2010.
TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY DEPARTMENT

Recently, he serves the Foundation Chancellor of Universiti Tenaga Nasional (YCU) as
Mohd Hafidz Ariffin Administrative Officer with the grade of UTE13. During his 8 years tenure in UNITEN, Mohd Hafidz

has contributed as Auditor for "Safety and Excellence Management System" (SEMS) at National

Level and holds a portfolio of Executive Vice President of the Staff Society Universiti Tenaga

Nasional (PAKAT).

In addition, Top Management UNITEN has appointed him as Special Liaison Officer & Escort for

The TYT Chancellor of UNITEN, Tun Dato 'Seri Utama Dr. Haji Abdul Rahman Bin Haji Abbas in
conjunction with the Convocation Ceremony held at UNITEN since 2012.
