Answer

i. Controller

The element of the system itself or external to the system which
controls the plants or the process.

ii. Error detector

Also known as comparison element. Its function is to compares the

reference value with the measured value and produces an error signal.

iii. Measurement element

Also known as a feedback element. Feedback is an arrangement by
which the actual output of a system is feed back to the input end for

comparison with the desired output.
